In case you were wondering why I have haven’t been doing many kamado cooking videos lately, it’s because my Kamado Joe Big Joe is broken, and I don’t have a back up grill or smoker. While I start off with my short story about the problem with the hinge springs that hold open the lid (or don’t in this case), I express a deeper concern about long term support of many older generation Kamado Joes owned by existing customers since they arrival the second generation; the Kamado Joe II.
