An introduction to, and overview of, the ‘The Grainfather’; an electric all-in-one brewing system for 5-6 gallon batches of beer.
This video discusses what it is, what it does, why I have it, and what I’ll be doing with it in the very near future.

I am considering purchasing a grainfather. I have enjoyed watching you demo videos on the grainfather (as well as many others). I am pretty much a novice extract brewer and world like to step to ElAB.
My question is, do you think using a sous-vide would be an effective way to heat the sparge water?
It is possible. I used a sous vide stick in my small batch BIAB video last year to heat and maintain mash temperature, but it took nearly an hour to heat a few 2-3 gallons of water to 153 deg F. There are much better and faster ways to heat water.
