Bell’s Oberon Clone: Brew Day, Recipe, and Tasting

We brewed up a ten gallon batch of Bell’s Oberon from Bell’s own recipe, as published in BYO Magazine, and split it into two five gallon batches; one fermented with Safale US-05 yeast and the other with Bell’s house yeast that I cultured from a couple bottles of Oberon. We tasted all three (both yeast clones and the real deal) to compare flavor differences between them. I also share the recipe.
Also, I show my first use of The Hangover by Exchilerator ( with the hop bag attachment.
